![]() ![]() In my experience, most of the mobos that have a 16x on the bottom, for some weird reason is shared with the 16X (first or second from the top), im trying to install a Prolimatech MK-26 into a GTX980Ti (and soon a GTX1080) but i need to move the Omega eclaro as far as i can, because of the screws of the mk26 i cant place it behind the GPU (where i know it wont make the 16x into 8x), so i have to go the furthest, but in most cases the last PCIe is a 16x that its shared with the other 16x, Since not all manufactures state it, its hard to be able to chose a board with the sharing critira, Asus seesm the best into this,įor example the Asus H170 Pro Gaming does have a section where it displays the sharing, specially where i can see if the last PCIe (in this case the 1x is not shared with the 16X)
